  • A$AP Rocky also joined Carti on stage for the performance of “Long Time (Intro).”

A couple of months ago, Kendrick Lamar amazed fans by inviting Playboi Carti as an unexpected guest during his “Grand National Tour.” On the night of Tuesday (Oct. 14), the “HBA” rapper reciprocated by inviting the Compton emcee to join him on stage during the Los Angeles leg of his “Antagonist 2.0 Tour.”

At Crypto.com Arena, Lamar teamed up with Carti for a live performance of “GOOD CREDIT,” one of three collaborations they have on the Atlanta artist’s newest album, MUSIC. “Having [Kendrick Lamar] with us in LA makes perfect sense,” he shared on Instagram, along with clips from the packed concert.

“Eliantte’s large, white gold chain rests on the stomach / The emerald bracelet for both, that lady sharp like A$AP Relli,” Lamar rhymed while Carti and DJ Swamp Izzo energized him. “The figures mean nothin’, the cash means nothin’, I’ve truly been him, I swear / They say Kenny’s been strong out West and I bear the load, n**ga, I’m Luka Dončić.” Observe the moment below

Carti was the initial surprise guest at Lamar’s “Grand National Tour” event at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where they also sang “GOOD CREDIT.” Significantly, among all their partnerships on MUSIC, it’s the sole song where the pgLang founder provides more than just riffs and ad-libs.

“GOOD CREDIT” premiered at No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100, while their other two tracks, “BACKD00R” and “MOJO JOJO,” debuted at No. 25 and No. 27, respectively. A$AP Rocky also made an appearance at Carti’s show on Tuesday night, performing “Long Time (Intro)” from the 2018 album Die Lit

The “Antagonist 2.0 Tour” is anticipated to arrive next at the Mortgage Matchup Center located in Phoenix, Arizona. After that, Carti and the other artists on his Opium Records label will travel to cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, Brooklyn, and Charlotte, among others
