42 In a recent interview with “The Breakfast Club,” Dugg was candid. The Detroit rapper talked about how he’s come to terms with the present condition of hip-hop during his conversation.

In a widely shared video from the conversation, the firecracker emcee stated, “You start to think, like d**n, are we competing with them?”
“I believe it’s because they’re enjoying themselves more. Charlamagne said, “You know the guys are still being a little tough.” In reply, the God made a note. Upon acknowledging the host’s observation with a nod, Dugg donned his A&R hat and proposed strategies for female rappers to leverage the occasion. “The other day, I told someone, ‘They should follow in the footsteps of the guys.'” Sexyy Red, for instance, needs to record a cassette with GloRilla. Yo Gotti needs to do it while they could, I told him. Similar to Drake’s work with Future.
The hosts of the show seemed to concur with Dugg, saying that greater cooperation amongst women in the rap genre would be advantageous to the whole business.
