Wiz Khalifa has shared his perspective on Drake’s lawsuit against Universal Music Group, expressing that he isn’t surprised to see the 6 God bringing in attorneys.

During a conversation with NFL icon Shannon Sharpe on his Club Shay Shay podcast, Wiz was questioned regarding the conflict between Drake and Kendrick Lamar and the resulting legal consequences.

“It’s about time,” remarked the Pittsburgh native regarding the long-standing feud between the Hip Hop titans that finally flared up this year. “I’m fed up with people pretending to be friendly with one another.” “Simply express what you genuinely think, man.”

Wiz remarked about Drake’s legal documents that claim UMG committed defamation and employed streaming bots and payola to promote Kendrick’s diss track “Not Like Us”: “That seems like a typical Drake tactic to me.”

He stated: “He’s an artist and entrepreneur, so if he’s not achieving success publicly in music, he’ll seek victories wherever possible.” I believe it’s an intelligent action to take. “They’re executing it precisely as they should.”

When questioned about whether he believes the rivalry between Drake and Kendrick is solely for entertainment purposes, Wiz answered: “Nah, I don’t think those guys get along at all.” That’s just the way the industry works, and now everything is coming to a close, revealing all that you’ve been witnessing.

“However, this is also similar to wrestling, where the same individuals who are in conflict can become friends right away.” So it’s like, don’t become overly focused on the hostility aspect — not them, but generally, individuals will be embracing later.

Wiz Khalifa isn’t the sole rapper who has commented on Drake’s lawsuit against his extended record label.

50 Cent recently shared his perspective on the shift during a conversation with Cam’ron on his Talk With Flee YouTube program.

He theorized that Drizzy’s real goal is to prevent Kendrick Lamar from singing “Not Like Us” during next year’s Super Bowl halftime performance.

“I have never witnessed that previously.” I’ve never witnessed a rap battle result in a lawsuit. “However, I believed it was Drake’s team attempting to stop the Super Bowl from causing additional harm,” said Fif.

“If you file a lawsuit against Apple and Universal Music Group while Apple is involved in the Super Bowl music, they are already tied up in legal battles and facing expenses to defend themselves.”

The G-Unit leader also suggested that Drake’s lawyers may have warned the NFL, stating: “We have a problem regarding this song.” It’s already an active case; we don’t want you to let that come out, or you could be implicated in the damages.
