Rihanna has sent GloRilla a direct message on Instagram, which she acknowledges is “hypocritical.”
Even though fans have been waiting for RiRi to release a follow-up to ANTI for nearly ten years, the Bajan pop sensation continues to request an album update from one of her favorite musicians.
She sent GloRilla a private message, stating, “You got all summer sis! I am aware of this extreme hypocrisy, but when will the record be out?
The letter was revealed in a recap of the Memphis native’s trip to the 2024 BET Awards, but she also addressed the “Umbrella” artist.
Many admirers were amused by Rihanna’s question, with one making the joke, “Ri asking for an album is diabolical asf.”
Someone else commented, “Rihanna plays too much! Hurry up and get her the album!
Recently, Rih uploaded a video of herself dancing to GloRilla’s popular song “TGIF,” demonstrating her admiration for the rapper.
The camera turned to her lover A$AP Rocky as she lip-synced and performed the popular song “It’s 7 p.m. Friday/ It’s 95 degrees/ I ain’t got no n-gga and no n-gga ain’t got me.”
The Harlem rapper playfully replied, confused and pleased by his partner’s energy, “Where my drink at, man? I’m too mature for this garbage.
GloRilla has previously asserted that she and Rihanna have similar appearances, and she has included a voicemail from her grandma to support her claims.
“Why didn’t you tell me that Gloria and Rihanna had such striking similarities?” Using her granddaughter’s actual name, her grandmother started.
