With the release of VULTURES 1, Ye and Ty Dolla Sign, better known as ¥$, created history in February. The R&B singer talked candidly about the project and what fans can expect from the upcoming release on Thursday, June 20.

In a Billboard interview, Ty gave an explanation for his choice to collaborate with the Chicagoan in spite of the many issues. “Ye is, bar none, the greatest artist of this generation, and I could care less about what people thought of her. I am aware of my n**ga. “I’ve met some of the best people ever,” he exclaimed.

“Just with my analysis of how it goes with him, he goes all the way to the top,” the “Paranoid” musician went on. And it can be that he says [something upsetting to people] and then, you know, they [return] immediately. Since this s**t cannot be denied.

The release of VULTURES 1 was well received by both reviewers and enthusiasts. Fan favorites including “TALKING” with North West, “BACK TO ME” with Freddie Gibbs, and “DO IT,” which had contributions from YG and the late Nipsey Hussle, were among the 16 tracks that made up the album. The last song was recorded in a temporary studio that Ty and Ye constructed in Dubai, according to Ty: “It’s a very expensive album, I will say that.”

Although the first album’s song “CARNIVAL” peaked at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart, fans are still waiting for VULTURES 2, which was supposed to release on May 3. Ty added that the two intend to pursue a direct-to-consumer strategy this time around.

“Why not? Change it up. There’s always something secret about [Ye]. He remarked, “I always have something up my sleeve.” “Every song is ours. Essentially, the question is simply, “How can we get it there? How can we surpass the success of the first album?
