On August 9, Apple TV+ will launch The Instigators, a crime comedy that takes a lighter approach to the heist genre. Starring in the next movie with Matt Damon and Casey Affleck are Jack Harlow as well.

The action-packed trailer was posted by the actors on Thursday, June 13. For a mere two and a half minutes, viewers are introduced to Damon as an ex-Marine planning his first robbery with the help of a younger, more experienced team, which includes Harlow.

Doug Liman is the director of The Instigators, which stars Michael Stuhlbarg, Hong Chau, Alfred Molina, and other notable actors. The movie, which was first shown in 2023, is the continuation of Harlow’s acting experiments after his part in the White Men Can’t Jump adaptation.

In a 2022 interview, Harlow talked about getting his first job with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “You know, I earned it by working hard.” I took my time writing the script. I sat with it. I gave them some thought,” he said. “During the audition, I made an effort to be humble, take notes, and do what I had to do, and it came… All I want to do is kill it. All I want is to be excellent, and I want to do all within my power to achieve this.

“When it was first announced, there was a lot of excitement and the buzz that goes along with saying, ‘Look, I’m in a movie.'” Everyone is saying, “Whoa, that’s crazy.” However, [the] dust settles after that,” the rapper went on. “Either nothing more than an announcement that you starred in a movie will happen, or you’ll get that and realize, ‘Wow, you really brought it.'” You provided it. Given that it’s my first, I care a great deal about it and am beginning to view it similarly to how I view music.

The popularity of “Lovin On Me,” which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier in 2024, is currently being enjoyed by the “First Class” hitmaker. He also released Jackman in 2023; it featured ten tracks but no extras.
