Despite being criticized for not casting a ballot in this election or any other election, Waka Flocka is sticking to his guns by endorsing Donald Trump.
The Atlanta rapper expressed his support for the MAGA leader on X on Friday, November 1, saying, “Trump for president!!!!!! Let’s go!
Two days later, after looking up Waka’s voting status on the website Did My Friends Vote, an X user with the handle @LadyJMillzz swiftly called him out.
“Well, isn’t THIS fascinating?” She included a screenshot demonstrating that the rapper from “No Hands” has never cast a ballot. Despite being registered to vote, you have never cast a ballot—not even for your beloved Rotting Sweet Potato. Enter the booth or shut up.
Waka went back to X to reiterate his position, saying that his voice is “bigger” than his vote, even though he didn’t explicitly answer her or the numerous people who were criticizing him after the disclosure.
“Remain concerned that I won’t vote. I realize we’re second-class citizens, so you’re upset,” he wrote. “Idgaf, but I’m aware of who [sheep] is Don’t try to outshine me; my voice is louder than my vote! False bullies
Waka Flocka gave an explanation of why he supports Trump during the summer, saying that although he doesn’t consider politics his identity, he thinks they share some ideals.
“Trump remains my president.” He wrote on X, “I don’t have to dance, stand with a red hat, or stage for money in my pockets.” “didn’t encourage me in this way… This is my decision, such as not eating pork, but does that make me despise or denigrate pork lovers?Additionally, I shall not behave like a politician. All I want is my rights.
“My freedom, equality, men/women to pay for bad policing, women to have rights and make choices for themselves, teachers to be paid more, and the list goes on, but hey, I’m just a little o entertainer with a micro voice I know no one is listening,” he added in a another post.
If these are the things he is enthusiastic about, people were quick to comment and tell him that he is looking at the wrong candidate.
One user wrote, “Say, bro. I know you’re a financial whiz and know how to make a dollar, but politics aren’t your thing.”
Another person said: “Policing? Will you support the candidate who declared at his own rally that he wants to grant police complete immunity? The man who appointed judges to the Court who essentially denied women their rights. You must not be this stupid.
Someone another said: “Have you been hacked? When he talks about immunity, it is the exact opposite of his promise to make men and women pay for poor policing. He is adamantly opposed to women’s bodily autonomy being governed by federal law and wants to abolish public education rather than raise teacher salaries. Are you trollin’, dog?
