“It feels so empty without him” HAWK TUAH #TheDeathOfSlimShady 7/12 was what he put in the caption.
This is a reference to a video that was originally posted on Tim & Dee TV last month. In it, Hailey Welch, 21, was asked to describe the “one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time.” Her response was, “You gotta give him that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang.”
Eminem’s decision to join the movement caught some fans off guard. One fan said, “Did bro just type ‘hawk tuah,'” while another said, “Wtf is happening now Eminem joined the ‘Hawk tuah’ trend.”
We’re doomed, a third social media user commented, “no way Em is saying Hawk Tuah now too.”
The D12 rapper revealed the picture for the album’s cover earlier this week. According to its title, the image shows the experienced rapper with bleach-blonde hair looking shocked as he is nearly completely zipped up into a corpse bag while still alive.
This appearance suggests that he is ready to step down from his contentious Slim Shady persona.
Eminem launched the dissemination of it earlier this year with the release of an obituary for the alter ego that he referenced earlier and which helped launch his career in the 1990s. Originally published in the Detroit Free Press in mid-May, the article focused on the upcoming record.
With a photo of the 8 Mile hero sporting a hockey mask akin to Jason Voorhees from his youth, the article’s header read, “Fans ‘Will Never Forget’ [The] Controversial Rapper.”
To date, the D12 leader has dropped two tracks, “Houdini” and “Tobey,” which feature Big Sean and BabyTron, to build buzz for the impending project.
