After much anticipation, fans may now officially view Usher’s “unforgettable seductive experience.” The R&B artist released the teaser for his USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS concert film on Tuesday, August 6. The film will be released in theaters in September.

The cinematic clip began with Usher gazing over the city’s skyline, with the song “OMG” playing in the background. It then cut to multiple shots of him singing live. Giving you a glimpse into the soul. The performer said, “City of Lights, I came here to find something,” as images of him aboard a Seine boat played. “Drifting on a river I cannot control,” he said.

The documentary, which is being directed by Anthony Mandler, will follow the Texas artist during his eight jaw-dropping performances at La Seine Musicale during Paris Fashion Week in 2023. Hits like “My Boo,” “Love In This Club,” and “Yeah!” will be reinvented for the global theatrical release, which viewers can anticipate. Watch the teaser below while you wait.

For both my audience and me as an artist, Paris was a unique experience. Usher stated in the original press release, “I hope those who weren’t able to make it in person get to experience how special it was.” “For those of you who attended, I hope you had a different perspective on the show and what it takes to get there.”

Usher has enthralled and delighted crowds with his songs and live performances for three decades. He received incredible praise only a few months prior for his incredible performance in the Super Bowl Halftime Show in front of 129 million viewers. AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron added, “Bringing his unmatched concert experience to movie theaters for his fans worldwide is a perfect fit for AMC Theatres Distribution.”

From September 12 to September 15, USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS will be screened in about 2,000 cinemas globally, with half of those showings taking place in the US.
