Tyler, The Creator marked the end of the year by sharing with fans his top songs from 2024.

Appearing on X (previously Twitter) shortly before midnight, Tyler shared 15 tracks that he found notable over the past year.

Featured in the list were “GNX” by Kendrick Lamar, “Hollon” by GloRilla, and “Cooties” by ScHoolboy Q, along with mentions for “Dominican Barber” by Lupe Fiasco, “Green Therapy” by Tommy Richman, and “uaintfrmhere” by Knxwledge.

Tyler added his own track “Judge Judy” to the list and chose songs by David Miller, Luh Tyler, Sahbabii, Tanya Blount, AZ Chike, MK Gee, and Ill Town Family as well.

He further expressed: “I appreciate everyone for these songs; I’m truly thankful to listen to them. I love you all and I want to devour them, broooooo.”

When a fan asked why he included one of his own tracks in the list, the Odd Future founder responded: “Yeah, I enjoy the music I create. I’m puzzled by the question.”

Tyler concluded 2024 by unexpectedly releasing a remix of Kendrick Lamar’s “Hey Now,” which he renamed “That Guy.”

The rapper released the track on Christmas Day in reply to a fan who stated: “I wish @tylerthecreator would freestyle on Hey Now so much.”

Tyler replied, “Merry Christmas. enjoyed it,” and shared a YouTube link to the remix he named “That Guy.”

The “Earfquake” artist referenced his unexpected performance at Lamar’s memorable Pop Out concert earlier this year through the song.

He flowed: “Little bunny jump out, you caught me at the showdown / Chaos yelling as if they resurrected Pac now / Cut the small talk, we’re unleashing the comeback / Major confidence the way I take my revenge back.”

Tyler likewise rapped about the achievements of his newest album, Chromakopia: “300k in four days Chromakopia / 12 days gold without even releasing the deluxe one / Sold a million tickets on the first day for that new stage.”

The music video for Tyler’s rendition of the song also included cameos from his former Odd Future friends Jasper Dolphin, Travis “Taco” Bennett, and Lionel “L-Boy” Boyce.
