A Los Angeles jury found two men guilty on Wednesday, August 7, of killing PnB Rock during a heist at Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles.
Following the event, Freddie Trone and Tremont Jones were charged with murder, robbery, and conspiracy. Shortly after the verdict was rendered, Deannea Allen, the mother of rock, told Rolling Stone, “I’m elated.” “I wanted to shout, ‘Hallelujah,’ and leap up. It went by quickly, which I love. Trone was allegedly the mastermind behind the heist that resulted in the death of the “There She Go” singer, according to the prosecution. Surveillance film, purportedly provided by his father, showed the adolescent getting out of a car driven by Jones and entering the restaurant brandishing a gun. This footage corroborated the prosecution’s version of events.
