President of the United States Joe Biden has accused tech magnate and owner of the X microblogging platform, Elon Musk, and his associates of attempting to influence the results of the November 5 election in favor of his opponent, Republican nominee Donald Trump.

In an attempt to raise money for his campaign before the election on November 5, Mr. Biden made this charge in a post on X. A thumbnail image of Mr. Trump and Mr. Musk is prominently featured on Mr. Biden’s contribution site in the post.

On Wednesday, Mr. Biden tweeted, “I’m tired of Elon Musk and his rich buddies trying to buy this election.”

After the attempted assassination attempt on the former US President in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday, Mr. Musk publicly stated his support for Mr. Trump, which prompted Mr. Biden to make this charge.

Shortly after the event, Mr. Musk said, “I fully endorse President Trump,” on his X account.

The American software mogul later declared that he would be contributing $45 million a month to Mr. Trump’s campaign in an effort to unseat Mr. Biden, the incumbent, in the November 2024 U.S. presidential election.
