The rapper from Houston provided fans with an encouraging update at Art Basel in Miami Beach.
Travis Scott concluded his UTOPIA journey in October, with the last legs of his “UTOPIA: CIRCUS MAXIMUS TOUR” occurring abroad. Since that time, fans have started imagining what the next musical era of the “Antidote” creator will be like. Luckily, it appears that the delay won’t be extensive.
During Art Basel in Miami, Scott gave a clue regarding his upcoming release. In a video making the rounds on Sunday (Dec. 8), a fan showed their affection for the rapper and then inquired, “When will you release that new s**t you created while on tour?” He replied, “Oh, it’s coming, like really on its way.”
To provide context, in January, the ASTROWORLD creator hinted that he was creating music at each location of the previously mentioned tour, accumulating what might exceed 70 tracks. “Envision an album where every track represents the city it was created in during the tour,” someone tweeted, to which he replied, “[Are you] inside my head or something???” The Houston local subsequently posted an image of his mobile studio arrangement while traveling.
Meanwhile, Scott has remained occupied with collaborations: Future and Metro Boomin’s “Type S**t,” Mustard’s “Parking Lot,” and Future’s “SOUTH OF FRANCE (REMIX).” He also celebrated the 10th anniversary of DAYS BEFORE RODEO by finally releasing it on streaming services in August.
Scott is set to headline Rolling Loud Miami’s 10th anniversary on Saturday (Dec. 14), with his Cactus Jack Records roster, featuring Don Toliver and Sheck Wes, also performing that day. Future and Playboi Carti are set to headline the remaining two dates of the star-studded event.
In April 2025, the chart-topping artist is set to begin a “new chapter” at Coachella, where he aims to reveal even more fresh music. “Fresh act, fresh Coachella by La Flame and Cactus Jack.” First of this sort. P.S. You all have until April because I’m on my way,” he stated through Instagram.
