Travis Hunter from Colorado is the winner of the 2024 Heisman Award. The skilled two-sport athlete triumphed over tough rivals to secure the esteemed honor on Saturday evening (Dec. 14). After winning the trophy, he disclosed that his fiancè introduced him to Lil Wayne’s music. Numerous fans were puzzled that the thrilling football player had never heard the skilled musician before he met his future spouse.
The Hip Hop icon and prominent sports enthusiasts were present when the skilled athlete, guided by Deion Sanders, received his accolade. In his acceptance speech, he remarked, “Wayne, you have no idea how you entered our lives, man,” Hunter expressed. “My fiancée adores you.” I didn’t know any of your songs until she informed me since I don’t listen to music. She informed me. She said to me, like, ‘You have to hear this. If you don’t enjoy music, give Wayne a try. And starting that day, that was all I paid attention to.
