Rapper Top5 from Toronto has issued a warning to The Weeknd for supporting Kendrick Lamar in his feud with Drake.

The singer of “Blinding Lights,” who was reportedly close to Drizzy before their breakup, went to K.Dot’s “Pop Out” event following their earlier-year altercation with the 6 God.

Rapper Top5, who is presently awaiting trial on murder charges, is one person who has taken issue with The Weeknd siding against his fellow Canadian.

The rapper posted the following on his Instagram Stories: “I dare you n-ggas to come to the 6ix #noflyzone. All these n-ggas are mad at one.”

The Weeknd’s photo was subsequently posted, along with the comment, “@theweeknd you began doing coke now your from Compton? Await your sighting by my GGs.

Drake came under fire from Top5 earlier this year when they shared an Instagram photo of the OVO logo along with the comment, “These n-ggas ain’t do shit for street n-ggas in Toronto.”

“When you’re trolling just to see who’s eager to get at The Boy in the Dms,” he subsequently stated, clarifying that he was kidding and that it was a set-up to see who was trying to snake Drizzy in his spat with Kendrick Lamar.

“Send me the list 5’er,” Drake responded in the comments section, accompanied by laughing emojis.

In connection with the 2021 murder of Hashim Omar Hashi, Top5 was accused of murder in Toronto in 2022.

The victim was allegedly shot by Top5, whose true name is Hassan Abdibarik Ali, after he was thought to be the one who had shot his own brother, Said, also known as Foolish.

According to court documents, Ali then talked of murdering others in social media posts as payback for his brother’s passing, including one that was made less than three days prior to the murder.

The judges further stated that Top was believed to be a passenger in the same car rather than the shooter.

Top5 was freed on bond in late March 2021 after being detained first on charges of accessory to murder in February 2021.

He was explicitly forbidden from using Instagram as part of his bail terms, yet he persisted in using the platform to advertise his music and maintain his innocence in the murder.

He laughed and replied, “The only run I know is the treadmill,” in the video. “I didn’t act badly. Keep that for God.
