According to the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Center, President Bola Tinubu’s administration put together phony organizations in an attempt to undermine the upcoming #EndBadGovernance demonstrations.
“The federal government is embarking on unnecessary waste of public money to be mobilizing and recruiting faceless groups to say they are withdrawing from the protest,” CISLAC executive director Auwal Musa Rafsanjani stated in a Sunday interview with ARISE TV.
“The goal is not to organize the demonstration. People wouldn’t need to protest, in my opinion, if the government had been paying attention and developing policies and initiatives that would lessen the hardship that Nigerians are going through.
