At 11:06 a.m. on Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu left Lagos for Pretoria, South Africa.

Mr. Tinubu is scheduled to attend the inauguration of Cyril Ramaphosa, the newly elected president of South Africa. After the event, the President will depart for Nigeria.

At the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Mr. Tinubu was greeted by the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, along with other dignitaries.

The aircraft used to transport the President was a Dassault Falcon 8X registered 9H-GRC. Friday was Mr. Tinubu’s arrival in Lagos for the Eid-el Kabir celebrations.

He had urged Nigerians to give up everything in order to elevate their country.
