In a deleted tweet on the service that was originally known as Twitter, the founder of YSL expresses his feelings regarding Gunna, implying a tense relationship.
Young Thug appears to have tweeted and removed a direct strike at Gunna, leaving fans perplexed. “Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know u my guy,” the “Hot” rapper’s page said on Saturday, November 9, just before it was removed off the program that was originally known as Twitter.
He tweeted about releasing a song with Lil Baby, who has been vocal about his disapproval of Gunna after he entered an Alford plea during the YSL RICO trial, before making this post. While many fans have argued over whether or not Gunna “snitched,” things became even more confusing when Young Thug’s attorney asked the judge if he could still collaborate with Gunna and his blood brother, rapper Unfoonk, as part of his plea agreement.
Many fans thought the gesture was sufficient to infer that Thug and Gunna were cool, but there have been conflicting responses to this recent tweet-and-delete. “Aren’t 20 years on the line?” asked one user. Please don’t do that today, Thug. Another person commented, “He is very slow.” When the free young thug returns to the slammer, I don’t want to hear it!
Since being released from prison, Gunna has remained insistent about his bond with Young Thug. Even though many people were unsure of the status of their relationship, he has always carried a “Free Jeff” sign at his performances. Once the rapper got back home, he was famously unfollowed and stopped engaging with artists like Future, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and many more.
The discussion about Lil Baby and Gunna’s despised connection began to gain traction before Thug was released. Since he made his stand about Gunna being a snitch, many people thought that his music and social profile had suffered.
Young Thug has not yet addressed any reports regarding the state of his relationship with his fellow YSL artist in-depth or released any music. However, a lot of people think Thugger will be included on Lil Baby’s next album. Following the appearance of billboards with the phrase “whatever Wham says goes,” which referenced an earlier tweet by Young Thug while he was incarcerated, this conjecture intensified.
