The reports of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Vultures Listening Experience” show tour to Korea are coming true.

Following West’s participation at an event in Tokyo last month, there were rumors circulating that the contentious rapper and producer will soon be performing in South Korea, which is not too far away.

Ty revealed on Saturday, July 6, that the ‘Vultures’ event will be visiting Korea on August 23. So, that has now been verified. The announcement made no mention of a location.

The two musicians perform songs from their joint album Vultures in front of an audience during the “Vultures Listening Experience,” but it hasn’t always been easy.

The pair planned concerts in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, and Washington, DC, in March.

However, on March 30, Ye’s Ticketmaster page lost all of those listings, and some of the locations where he was scheduled to perform announced that they would no longer be holding the event.

The Amalie Arena in Tampa and the Amerant Bank Arena in Fort Lauderdale shared messages regarding the cancellation, while the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, and the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville deleted the event off their websites.

Both locations announced, “We regret to report that the upcoming dates for the VULTURES 1&2 listening experience will need to be revisited at a later date due to the time constraints for Ye and Ty Dolla $ign to curate production and meet logistic requirements.”

A Spectrum Center spokesman informed the Charlotte website Clture that the Charlotte event was “officially” cancelled.

The two have, however, continuously missed the release dates for their anticipated album Vultures 2.

In an interview with Justin Laboy, Kanye stated that his second joint venture with Ty would be out on May 3. However, the album hasn’t yet been added to any streaming platforms.

More recently, Ty stated that the two are working on a sequel in an interview that appeared in Billboard on June 20.

“Every song is ours. Essentially, the question is simply, “How can we get it there? “How can we surpass the success of the first album?” he said.

“Most people will probably expect you to just do the same exact sound,” he continued. However, the sound is already over.

Earlier in the month, Ty provided an update on the long-delayed project’s progress and hinted at future releases including Ye.

“It’s dropping ASAP,” he declared while joining Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy on a Kick stream. There will be a Vultures 2 soon. It will happen shortly. Any moment now. Perhaps tomorrow.

Ty said, “On the app,” in response to a fan on the stream who inquired about whether Vultures 2 would be accessible through streaming services or simply Kanye’s YZY app.
