Kendrick Lamar’s assault on Drake is drawing a lot of attention to Tam’s Burgers in Compton, which served as a filming set for the music video for “Not Like Us.”

After the restaurant was prominently featured in K.Dot’s video, which was released on Thursday, July 4, the manager of the Rosecrans Ave. burger joint, along with his son, spoke with TMZ this week. As of this writing, the video has had over 35 million views. They told the publication that they have been inundated with admirers claiming to be there because of it.

In the video, Mustard and Kendrick arrive at Tam’s in a Lambo and hang out inside and outside the restaurant. The owners, who have known Kendrick since he was a teenager, arranged to have their brand prominently featured in the video without charging for the filming. They said that since Thursday, business has increased by 30–40%.

The highly awaited music video for the Compton rapper’s smash hit song “Not Like Us” was released on Thursday night, and it includes multiple Easter eggs directed at his toughest competitor.

K.Dot has plenty of ammunition thanks to Drake’s OVO emblem, as he can be seen menacingly staring at an owl in a cage and using a broom handle to burst open an owl-shaped piñata.

In a different clip, he is shown dancing to the smash song produced by Mustard alongside his fiancée Whitney Alford and their two kids, who Drake brought into the dispute.

The video features a cameo from Kendrick’s longtime manager Dave Free, who was suspected of possibly fathering one of his pgLang partner’s children. This is an even more very subtle jab at Drizzy.

After appearing at Michael Rubin’s annual Fourth of July White Party in the Hamptons, Drake was subjected to more jeers from Kendrick Lamar followers after the video was released.

Drizzy can be seen conversing with GloRilla in party footage, and he even gets up to sing classics like “Sticky” and “Wants and Needs” with Lil Baby.

However, one particular image has drawn notice since, in the opinion of fans as least, it depicts the 37-year-old musician hanging out with Rubin and appearing exactly his age.

The millionaire host posted the image to Instagram, sparking a barrage of comments about Drake’s appearance, many of which made reference to his current fight with Kendrick Lamar.

Some remarked, “Drake looks like he’s been through the ringer,” while another said, “Drake aged like 20 years since the beef.”

“Is it me or buddy looking stressed out [crying face emoji]?” inquired another person.
