Blogger Tasha K has responded to Soulja Boy’s recent multi-million dollar defamation lawsuit against her and internet celebrity William The Baddest.
Tasha almost mocked the rapper in an Instagram post on Thursday, July 18, providing process servers with her address so they could deliver the lawsuit.
PSA: Process servers are welcome to meet me on Saturday, July 20, in Boston, or on July 21, in New York City! The City Wineries is where I’ll be performing,” she stated. Right on schedule, at 7:30 p.m. est, my wine, gossip, and comedy events begin. If you buy a ticket process server, I’ll see to it that my security team allows you to service me without any problems.
“If you have any trouble reaching me, my attorneys are in New York as well and will be at my New York Show as well.”
On Wednesday, July 17, TMZ verified the lawsuit, exposing that the rapper of “Crank That” is chasing a whopping $16 million after William said in an interview that he had slept with Soulja.
During the first part of the month, William went into great detail about the tryst. Soulja promptly responded with a video, refuting the allegations and threatening legal action, which he has already followed through on.
The rapper informed the publication that at the time of the interview, he sent the couple a letter requesting a retraction, giving them an opportunity to avoid legal action; however, the video stayed up online. William went so far as to permanently ink Soulja’s name in purple on his face.
SB is currently suing for a number of reasons, including intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, sexual harassment, and invasion of privacy.
The lawsuit claims that Soulja’s representatives suffered actual harm to his reputation and career as a result of the defendants’ malicious targeting of him and their attempt to destroy his career by painting him as a non-straight man, a fraud, and an untrustworthy public figure—all of which are untrue.
In his denial, Soulja Boy claimed that Meek Mill had paid to spread gay allegations about him, despite the rapper from Philadelphia being the target of his own gay suspicions involving Diddy.
The first time he brought up the rumors was when he was making fun of Meek, following the Philadelphia native’s intervention in his argument with 21 Savage.
“Soulja, if you say you’re going to smoke somebody and they see you and actually smoke you, it’s self defense [sic],” Meek tweeted in a since-deleted message. You’re all insanely out of touch with reality because of some likes and clout.
“Did Diddy not kick you in the ass?” Soulja shot back.
Following the accusations of a rapper who fit his description in producer Lil Rod’s sexual harassment lawsuit against the president of Bad Boy Records, Meek Mill has refuted the claims that he had sex with Diddy.
In addition to Soulja Boy, Tasha K is being sued by Cardi B, Kevin Hart, and R. Kelly.
