It appears that Summer Walker will release her third studio album soon. The singer posted pictures of herself in the studio and a possible tracklist with 19 tracks on Sunday, July 7.

Walker re-shared a fan’s reaction on her Instagram Story, saying, “Oh my God, she’s about to drop a new album,” even though she didn’t confirm the project’s name or title.”I was just thinking yesterday,” Baby Tate said beneath her teaser post.

I was thinking, “Damn, I wish I had a new Summer Walker record.” Take a look at God. Journee, a famous R&B singer, said, “Please, please, please drop.” Another user conjectured the title of the LP as “Completely Over It.”

Another person emphasized, saying, “She has only finished nine of the 19 tracks so far. Thus, [people], we’ll have to wait a little while longer.

In 2021, Walker’s previous album, Still Over It, was released. Standout songs on the album were “Toxic,” featuring Lil Durk, “No Love,” featuring SZA, and “Ex For A Reason,” featuring a guest verse by JT from City Girls. Ari Lennox, Omarion, Pharrell Williams, and Ciara—who provided the outro voice—were among the other featured.

It’s also important to note that Cardi B provided the narration for the first song, “Bitter.” Walker told NME, “I was getting harassed by one of [London On Da Track’s] baby mommas,” about the duet. When [Cardi] noticed it, she merely wanted to be nice and provide some guidance. We had to remove it. She went into much more detail about how to handle that because, in my opinion, she was in that same circumstance herself. We only included what she felt was appropriate for the general public to hear.

Following the release of the album, Walker released the CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE EP in 2023. Just two musicians were featured on the EP, which had nine songs total: J. Cole and Childish Gambino, the latter of whom only appeared on “New Type.”
