Wayon, a YouTube prankster, tried to play a joke on Kevin Gates in a mall, but Gates did not like it and attacked Wayon.
Wayon recorded himself at the Westfield Topanga Mall in California when he spotted Gates out shopping with a woman, which he later posted to his YouTube account.
Wayon approaches the rapper from Baton Rouge while the camera is filming and remarks, “You look like Kevin Gates.” “That’s Kevin Gates,” I said, gesturing to him.
With a non-amused expression, Gates responds, “Look, stop playing with me, bro.” “Get the fuck out the door,” the YouTuber was told as she was escorted to the mall’s exit.
After apologizing, Wayon asks, “Can you say ‘dick in that pussy’ for me real quick?” a few moments later.
The rapper strikes Waylon on the back of the head and then walks away carelessly, seemingly driven over the brink by the X-rated request.
The YouTuber exclaims, “Ahhh, Kevin Gates!” in shock. Oh my god, Kevin Gates! Man, get over it. That hurt, oh. Kevin, what the fuck? Kevin, I didn’t think that was nice. That was really painful.
“Kevin Gates just assaulted me,” he continued. Oh, how painful. N-gga, Kevin Gates just gave me a punch. That’s kind of a dub.
Gates has not yet responded to the event.
After being tricked into believing he was Boosie Badazz by social media celebrity Gerard Huston earlier this month, Flavor Flav responded more positively.
That was you, oh my god. Little Boosie, dude! In a video of their meeting, Huston says, sultrying up the Long Island native who was decked up in an Olympic tracksuit from Team USA and accessories to match.
Flav replies, “Everyone say that,” taking the (deliberate) incidence of mistaken identity in stride. But you know what I mean—that’s my guy.
Then, taking the joker by surprise, he declares, “I am his dad.” Do you also wish for me to be yours? causing bystanders to laugh.
Huston has already tried this identical prank on a number of other hip-hop celebrities, with varying degrees of success.
While Flavor Flav seemed to enjoy the prank, E-40 was one of the rap icons who was less taken aback by Huston’s actions.
Huston introduced himself as Fat Joe to the Bay Area legend in July.
“Heavy Joe? Indeed, 40 Water replied, “I was just with him,” presumably referring to the fact that they had shared the stage at a Joe Biden event in North Carolina the month before.
The hyphy pioneer angrily exclaimed, “You a comedian […]” upon realizing that Huston had mistaken him for the Terror Squad boss. Isn’t that a bit childish? Man, get over it. When were you born? 2024?
As he walked away, he shouted: “Do your homework!”
