Snoop Dogg is reaffirming his backing of Kendrick Lamar, even after being subtly criticized by Dot on his latest album, GNX.

In his verse on “wacced out murals,” Kendrick talks about Snoop sharing “Taylor Made” and hoping it contained edibles. He was surprised to find out it actually featured AI vocals from Snoop and 2Pac, prompting him to move on from the situation.

Snoop didn’t get upset by the mention, instead, he complimented the album in a post to X that very day and playfully suggested that it was actually the edibles that caused him to praise Drizzy.

On Sunday, he once again showed his support by posting a photo on Instagram of himself listening to the LP and filling the caption with fire emojis.

In June, Snoop Dogg declared Kendrick Lamar the ‘King of the West’ after Lamar’s highly acclaimed ‘Pop Out’ show in LA.

The ‘Pop Out’ event took place on Juneteenth at The Forum, with LA’s top artists like Dr. Dre, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Tyler, the Creator, YG, and Roddy Ricch. Kendrick also united members of the Crips and Bloods on stage, earning praise from Uncle Snoop.

Snoop posted a video on his Instagram from Toronto, giving a special mention to K.dot and all his West Coast friends who came together in unity, peace, and love. “That was truly stunning.” It was enjoyable to observe. It’s wonderful witnessing all of my friends and family unite. K.dot, you are the ruler of the western region.

“That is the type of nonsense that kings engage in.” We come together. We unite our communities.”

Even though he had organized the peaceful event, Kendrick Lamar was openly emotional about witnessing it unfold.

At the end of the performance, he spoke to the crowd, expressing his emotions: “This is really getting to me.” We have been messed up ever since Nipsey Hussle passed away. We have been struggling since Kobe Bryant passed away. This is the epitome of unity.
