Snoop Dogg is generous regarding his sole daughter and recently disclosed that he gave her a generous $1 million for her forthcoming wedding.
Snoop and Cori Broadus visited The Jennifer Hudson Show on Monday (December 2) in anticipation of the launch of Cori’s new E! docuseries, Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story.
During a game of questions, Snoop was inquired about the most extravagant gift he has given his daughter.
“The most extravagant gift I presented to my daughter – the only thing regarding this gift is that she hasn’t had the chance to open it or hasn’t opened it yet,” he remarked. “It cost $1 million for her wedding.”
A smiling Cori applauded and exclaimed, “Exactly, exactly!”
“However,” Snoop went on, “I told her that if I were the one, my wedding would have cost $100k and I would have pocketed $900k.”
Cori and her fiancé Wayne Duece got engaged in November 2022, but delayed their wedding after she experienced a stroke earlier this year. Nonetheless, she has completely recovered and is moving forward with her planning, which will be recorded in the upcoming series debuting on Thursday (December 5).
As previously mentioned, Cori Broadus was taken to the hospital in January following what she called “a serious stroke.”
The reason for the episode was initially unclear, although she has been fighting lupus — an autoimmune condition that presently has no cure — for the majority of her life.
“I suffered a serious stroke this morning [two teary-eyed emojis] I began to cry when they shared the news with me,” she posted on her Instagram Stories while disclosing the information.
In a subsequent post, she mentioned: “At just 24, what have I done in my past to warrant all of this?”
A few days later, she provided an update indicating that she was looking forward to being home soon.
She expressed back then: “I sincerely value all the love and support from… once more, I’m human and experience difficulties like anyone else, which is why I’m so candid about my life. I realize that I feel isolated, but we are never truly alone; someone else is usually facing nearly the same struggles. I’m still here, wishing to be home soon.”
Last year, Cori spoke with PEOPLE about her battles with lupus, a condition she was diagnosed with when she was 6 years old.
“I’ve been well, better than I’ve ever been,” she stated. “I ceased taking all my medication around five months ago.” I’m simply using everything natural, including various herbs, sea moss, and teas. I began exercising and consuming plenty of water. Now I feel that my body is adjusting to this new routine and is starting to adapt.
