The issues Top Dawg Entertainment is having touring in Canada are still there. Less than twenty-four hours before SiR was supposed to take the stage, his sold-out gig in Toronto was canceled, as he disclosed on Tuesday, July 30.

The comedian who sang “You Can’t Save Me” hilariously quoted a post from July 18 on Twitter, saying that his event wouldn’t be canceled like ScHoolboy Q’s: “This s**t really didn’t age well.” He wrote, “I apologize to my Toronto fans,” in another place. The program is no longer airing. We are in the process of rearranging at a later time.

ScHoolboy Q wrote, “Take yo’ a** home, boy,” making fun of the situation. On the bus, sing. It’s [completed]. “They DON’T like us,” SiR retorted, maybe alluding to that or subtly referencing Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

We sold out that show, for those who were curious. The location canceled it. I’m not sure why. “My apologies again to those who came just to see me,” he said, before enquiring as to who was prepared for his “Life Is Good Tour” stop in Detroit.

Notably, Drake and Live Nation collaborated to establish the HISTORY, a venue where ScHoolboy Q and SiR were scheduled to perform in 2023. Ice Spice, Shenseea, and Vince Staples are just a few of the performers scheduled to perform at the 2,500-seat facility later this year.

The high-profile rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar was nearly instantly blamed by social media for the cancellation of ScHoolboy Q’s July 17 Toronto show. By pointing out that TDE president Terrence “Punch” Henderson had just been in the same area as Lil Wayne and Birdman, the West Coast artist all but verified the rumors. Simultaneously, PARTYNEXTDOOR performed without incident at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

He said on Twitter, “We would’ve just done it if we wanted to get y’all.” “Now, don’t cry when someone gets hurt.”
