Sexyy Red has responded to an outrageous allegation that she is a covert CIA operative inserted to further “degeneracy.”
The “Pound Town” hitmaker came under further fire over the weekend when a widely shared post on X (previously Twitter) criticized the subject’s persona and musical choices.
“My dislike for Sexyy Red is unrelated to respectability politics. “Her whole brand is a joke,” the reviewer stated. “It doesn’t provide honesty like Glorilla or allow her to own her sexuality like Megan does. I get a CIA sense from her.
In response, the native of St. Louis quickly wrote, “Fawk u btch.”
Since gaining notoriety the previous year, Sexyy Red is no stranger to controversy.
She caused controversy earlier this year when she was scheduled to play at the Roots Picnic, which made Questlove, the founder of the band and organizer of the festival, the target of intense scrutiny.
One disgruntled fan said on social media, “Of ALL the sisters doing positive Hip Hop y’all really gonna promote this Hot ass mess?” Another fan made reference to a famous The Roots song: “I suppose the meaning of the song ‘What They Do’ has officially been lost.”
The flames was further ignited by her subsequent performance at the yearly Philadelphia festival, where she took the stage in front of a massive MAGA headgear that had been altered to read, “Make America Sexyy Again.”
The rapper has previously declared, “I like Trump,” in support of divisive former president Donald Trump. In the hood, they lend him support. I don’t think anyone was messing with him at first. They believed him to be racist as he made crude remarks about women.
However, after he began providing free money to people and releasing Black individuals from prison. Oh sweetie, we adore Trump. He must return to the office. Because, sweetheart, those checks, we need him back. their stimulus assessments. We miss you, Trump.
Sexyy seemed to retract her remarks, though, after receiving negative feedback on her Roots Picnic set. She tweeted, “It’s Sexyy Red 4 President [American flag emoji] I’m my own candidate I’m not endorsing anybody period.”
