More music from Sexyy Red and Lil Baby is forthcoming. The Atlanta rapper gave a sneak peek at a new song they’re working on on Friday night, May 31st, which samples the 1998 hit song “Nann N**ga” by Trick Daddy and Trina.
The QC artist said, “[Sexyy Red] loading…,” along with a video of himself rapping along to the song on his Instagram Stories. “Either way, you don’t gotta use spit/ You aint never ever had a nga like this,” he spat over the music produced by Righteous Funk Boogie. “Don’t stop this, yeah. Look me in the eyes. You’ve never met a nga this player. You have a little boyfriend, so it doesn’t matter. I’ll lie to you and I won’t tell.”
Over the years, numerous artists have attempted to remake “Nann N**ga.” It is debatable, nevertheless, if they equaled the original’s intensity. “I believe she chose the incorrect person to go on the track. One social media user commented, “[DaBaby] fits the song way better,” beneath The Neighborhood Talk’s repost.
In a similar vein, another person stated, “On a beat like this, she absolutely should have had DaBaby instead of Lil Baby. On this rhythm, DaBaby would have skated.
