The “Tap In” rapper referenced Latto’s lyrics to dispel rumors regarding her spending time with 21 Savage in Dubai.
Saweetie went online to refute the allegations that she and 21 Savage were in a relationship during her recent visit to Dubai. During a December 7 interview with the social media channel Mystery Fashionist, a fan commented on the irony of her saying “Big mama” — the title of a song by Latto — particularly as many thought she was dating 21 Savage, leading her to promptly reply in the comments to clarify the situation.
Responding to the user who claimed, “Messy starting like that with all the 21 cheating on Latto with her speculations,” the “My Type” rapper replied, “literally never met him. Go earn some cash and log off the web. BROKEEEEEYYYYY.” Though neither party has confirmed it, numerous individuals believe that 21 Savage and Latto are in a relationship. As a result, fans valued Saweetie’s inclusion of Latto’s songs in her reply.
A fan replied, “It’s wild that Latto or 21 never acknowledged they’re dating LMAO y’all need to mind your own business for real.” Another person remarked, “Can we begin at the stage where we aren’t even sure if Latto and 21 Savage are a couple.”
Lately, the “Icy” rapper revealed information regarding her upcoming debut album. Upon confirming that the project is set to be released in 2025, she informed “Call Her Daddy” podcast presenter Alex Cooper, “I believe I truly understand myself now.” I sensed that I was perpetually in an odd transitional period, particularly with recording, thinking, ‘What am I actually discussing?’”
Saweetie has been officially releasing music for more than seven years. She has achieved great success with hits such as “Best Friend,” “Icy Girl,” and “Tap In.” Recently, the Bay Area local delved into her Mariah Carey repertoire by releasing two distinct holiday tracks. While discussing the albums, she remarked, “I aimed to produce two tracks that truly reflected the dual aspects of Christmas. I have “Big Santa,” where I say, “Big Daddy, what will you get me?” And my other holiday tune is somewhat gentler. It feels similar to the vibes of ‘Cater 2 U.’
