Rihanna was once the queen of clapbacks on Twitter, and a fan recently got a taste of that when he became a bit too bold while asking for new music.
On the night of Tuesday, December 31, Rihanna shared a video welcoming the new year, in which she disclosed that she stayed sober throughout all of 2024.
Evidently indifferent to the serious achievement, a fan called Lorenzo was more curious about the music, stating, “We want an album, forehead.”
Rih swiftly assembled him in reply, stating: “hear me Lorenzo! “You’re not attractive enough to use my black name, you silly fool!”
Shortly before Christmas, Rihanna consented to a unique interview with well-known Instagram account @mysteryfashionist, which inquires celebrities about the clothes they are donning.
RiRi started by describing her outfit, which included a New York Yankees cap, a vintage Christian Dior jacket, YSL trousers, and multiple belts, prior to being asked a series of questions.
When asked about “a frequent misunderstanding” regarding herself, the artist responded: “You all don’t know me, I’m incredibly ghetto.”
Rih also disclosed her greatest fashion remorse, stating: “In the beginning, I wore baggy jeans with my underwear exposed. “What was I even thinking, man?”
She then quipped, “It’s referred to as growth, everyone!”
Regarding music, the superstar recently suggested she might retire from that aspect of her career after nearly ten years without an album release.
RiRi, who operates lingerie and skincare labels, made the surprising remark while addressing the launch of Fenty Beauty in Barbados.
She mentioned: “I would say music was what captured the attention. However, God had different intentions for me, and I found ways to create that were truly sincere and genuine, or organically and authentically aligned with my passions.
Rih went on: “Therefore, it hardly seems like work. Yet, when you bring it home, I can’t convey to you all how significant this day is for me to be able to celebrate with those who truly deserve it, the community that has continually pushed me forward and provided me with strength and grace; you all have forever inspired me.
The news wouldn’t exactly be surprising since Rihanna last dropped an album in 2016 and her music releases since have been restricted to soundtracks, including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in 2022.
