Drake appears to have taken a sly dig at ScHoolboy Q following the abrupt cancellation of his Toronto event.

The TDE rapper had a show booked for Thursday, July 18, at History, a venue co-owned by Live Nation and Drizzy. However, he made an announcement the day before stating that the show had been canceled due to uncontrollable circumstances.

A few hours later, the 6 God posted a mirror photo to Instagram in which he appears to be wearing blue slides—ostensibly in reference to the song of the same name that ScHoolboy Q had released.

Additionally, he is spotted sporting a “Free Yayo” t-shirt, the same one that Eminem donned while the G-Unit rapper was imprisoned at the 2003 Grammy Awards.

Tony Yayo cautioned Drake’s adversaries not to fly to Canada in an interview that was conducted only last month.

“You really can’t voice your opinion since n-ggas are still interested in visiting Canada. When talking about Drake’s feud with Kendrick Lamar, he told VladTV, “You don’t wanna say something about Drake and now you can’t go to Canada.” “In Canada, you have wild n-ggas such as Pressa, Bun, and Top5. You have these wild n-ggas.”

“And then you have to go to the West Coast; that’s where the fucking gangbanging originated.” You are aware of how fans may become. It can be a fan who gives you a headshot.

Drake has been quite supportive of G-Unit during his battle with Kendrick, tagging DJ Whoo Kid’s mixtape at the start of “Push Ups” and using the group’s recognizable spinner chain in his “Family Matters” video.

The fierce animosity between the 6 God and his former TDE labelmate was the reason given by ScHoolboy Q himself for the cancellation of his Toronto gig.

“They recently canceled my flight to Toronto. About a day before he was scheduled to perform in the Canadian city, he posted on X (previously Twitter): “CANADIAN POLICE DONT WANT ANYONE FROM TDE PERFORMING.”

He commented, “TOP was just wit Wayne & Baby smH,” alluding to Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, the creator of TDE, who made an appearance at Birdman and Cash Money’s YouTube Leaders & Legends Gala. “[P]artynextdoor had an amazing time at the palladium.”

“[I]f we wanted to get yall we would’ve just done it.. now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry,” he said, seeming to threaten violence.

In response to a fan’s suggestion that Q’s cancellation of his Toronto gig will shield him from any attacks in Drake’s hometown, he said, “I don’t think u knowwho I am.” Actually, I don’t think many of you really know who I am.

Q subsequently clarified that he had not threatened anyone, adding, “I neva said ‘ima kill sumbody,’ I’m saying if we wanted to crack it off we could’ve smH.” “Leap and continue playing tough to get someone.” Hurt, everything is fine [emoji of a crying face] I’m a soccer parent.

Although the location has not yet provided a statement regarding the cancellation, it is important to remember that Toronto has recently had severe weather that has left many areas underwater and without electricity.

To the delight of friend turned enemy Rick Ross, Drake’s $100 million mansion, known as “The Embassy,” was completely destroyed by the floods.
