Regarding Drake’s allegation that Elliott Wilson betrayed him during their feud last month, Kendrick Lamar has responded.
Wilson himself disclosed Kendrick’s response on X (formerly Twitter) throughout the weekend while the Compton rapper was filming the music video in his hometown for his smash hit song “Not Like Us.”
Kendrick gave me a pat on the back and muttered, “You’re a rat. Hip hop is what I [love]. #Compton, haha,” he wrote.
During a guest interview on The Joe Budden Podcast, the seasoned Hip Hop writer denied having leaked information on Drake to Kendrick.
Wilson said in the interview that Drake implied the co-host of the Rap Radar Podcast was a snitch by sending him a rat emoji before “Family Matters” was released.
Later, Wilson, DJ Hed, and Jeremy Hecht discussed the dispute in more detail on HipHopDX’s The Bigger Picture series.

In response, Wilson claimed to have sent Drake a meme of 50 Cent asking, “What he say ‘fuck me’ for?” in shock. however, the Six Gods never answered.
After refuting the idea that he is a “rat,” the journalist said, “I felt that he thought I was against him and I had chosen a side and I couldn’t be trusted anymore.”
About what would I complain? What if you claimed that Elliott Wilson is telling Kendrick everything he knows? Kendrick would never stop laughing. Although Kendrick and I get along well, we’re not cool enough to have that kind of close personal relationship.
Wilson said in closing that Drake blocked him on Instagram and stopped communicating with him after sending him a rat emoji.
