André 3000 has responded to his fellow rappers who have attacked him for remarks he made on rapping past 40.

The OutKast icon stated, “I’ve heard some rappers reply to what I’ve said about age, and I have to ask, ‘What are you rapping about?'” in a cover story interview with Crack Magazine.

We adore some of the world’s most blustery rappers, but it’s so much simpler to live a life full of braggadociousness. That’s not necessarily how I rap. Our recipes differ from one another.

In response to an anonymous critic, Stacks maintained his defense of his position, saying, “He doesn’t know what it takes for me to do what I do. I’m not sure how he manages to say the same thing repeatedly while maintaining originality. However, I adore him for doing it.

Rap is a young man’s game, as André 3000 previously hinted when he told GQ, “I’m 48 years old.” Not that age always determines what you rap about, but in certain cases it does. And what are you talking about, like, the things that happen in my life? “I have a colonoscopy to get done.” About what are you rapping? “My vision is getting worse.”

Lil Wayne described his remarks as “depressing,” as both fans and other rappers expressed disappointment and disagreement with them.

During his Apple Music show Young Money Radio last year, Weezy stated, “I read a depressing quote or two from someone I respect a lot in music.” They were asked, “Why haven’t you been performing music?” or something similar. And they said, “Man, what am I going to talk about?” I am forty years old. What topic am I meant to discuss?

“Wow, that was really depressing,” I thought. I feel like I have everything to discuss!

The Love Below songwriter was also persuaded by The LOX to return to the booth with his notepad in hand.

Sheek Louch stated, “Nah, so much to talk about, Dre,” on The Breakfast Club. Man, that’s a lot. exactly how you phrase and present it. It’s a lot, but we’re not talking about trapping or being in the hallways or anything like that. Tell us about the struggles you have been facing.

Then Styles P spoke up, saying, “Rap about his travels.” He is among the best to have ever done it. He might have just as easily rapped over the flute beats. Rapping about what he’s going to rap about, in my opinion, is a valid point of view. It offers diverse viewpoints to various people.
