Quavo has teased his highly awaited collaboration with Lana Del Rey, sharing a snapshot of the two striking a gun fingers stance.
On Wednesday (June 19), the former Migos rapper took to Instagram to share a clip of the song along with a beautiful photo of the unexpected partners.
The song has the two musicians crooning together over acoustic guitars and metallic hi-hats, with Quavo delivering some of his famed ad-libs before the duo sing about “the blue collar, red dirt attitude.”
The rapper captioned his post, “Tough,” which looks to be the song’s title.

Lana Del Rey is no stranger to collaborating with rappers. In 2017, she collaborated with The Weeknd on “Lust for Life,” which appeared on her album of the same name. On the same album, she collaborated with Playboi Carti and A$AP Rocky on the track “Summer Bummer.”
She also worked with The Weeknd on two songs: “Stargirl Interlude” from his 2016 album Starboy and “Prisoner” from his 2015 album Beauty Behind the Madness.
The new single with Quavo was first teased last month.
The unusual two were spotted together at a Grammys celebration earlier this year, and it appeared that their collaboration was related to the upcoming song.
In May, Lana and Quavo published a preview of an untitled song on Instagram, along with a photo of them on a front porch with the caption: “If u come from where u come, then u were born….Tough!”
“If you come to the North, I’ll show you around,” Quavo says during the introduction. “Come ride with me. When you’re ready, call me.”
Quavo and Lana Del Rey’s aforementioned attendance at a pre-Grammys party sparked dating rumors earlier this year.
In February, the “Candy Necklace” singer and “Bad and Boujee” rapper were spotted snuggling in the back of a car while driving to a party at The Fleur Room in West Hollywood, California.
While they were not spotted holding hands, the two appeared to enjoy each other’s company, as they both smiled broadly. After getting off of their ride, Quavo took the lead, with Lana trailing a few paces behind.
Since then, Quavo has been in a spat with Chris Brown after the latter mocked him for reportedly dating Karrueche Tran.
After passing many songs back and forth, Karrueche chimed in on the situation, and she wants to keep out of it.
“I do not feel. It’s what it is. “I’m living my life,” she replied when asked how she felt about the diss recordings. “All that matters is that I work, pay my bills, and have time for myself. Whatever else is going on, I don’t have anything to do with it. I am living a calm life. “That’s all I want.”
She continued, “I just don’t want any parts; all I want is peace and happiness. I want to work and thrive.”
