The “Rockstar” songwriter expressed his emotions in a touching post on X after his special appearance during the “Beyoncé Bowl” on Christmas Day.
Beyoncé gave it her all during her iconic rendition of Cowboy Carter at the NFL Christmas Day halftime show “Beyoncé Bowl.” Her show showcased numerous skilled artists, such as Shaboozey, Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts, Brittney Spencer, Post Malone, and others. On Saturday (Dec. 28), the crooner from Grapevine, Texas and multi-diamond recording artist expressed his gratitude in a sincere social media post.
On the platform previously called Twitter, Posty stated, “Thank you so much, Beyoncé, for having me in Houston and on your amazing record. Also, I appreciate you sharing your talent and art with everyone.” “I care for you deeply.” The “Rockstar” singer and songwriter is recognized for his modesty and gratitude towards other artists in the music scene.
A fan replied, “I appreciate you being there to sing it live alongside her! The presentation was stunning! “You all accomplished that!” Another user commented, “You have consistently been a modest and incredibly skilled artist.” “It was fantastic to hear you on the album and even better to watch you perform together.”
The two accomplished musicians showcased their Cowboy Carter hit song, “LEVII’S JEANS.” In one of the songs, he expresses, “Ooh, I adore you, darling, yeah, you make me insane/ Want you every night, you’re my Renaissance/ Honey, loving you, that’s all I perceive/ In this wild world, you’re the greatest of treasures.” The song makes references to Beyoncé’s earlier album, Renaissance. The well-known LP led to an energetic world tour in 2023, showcasing special guest appearances by Megan Thee Stallion, Doechii, DJ Khaled, and Kendrick Lamar at various locations.
For supporters who didn’t catch the “Beyoncé Bowl,” Netflix created a separate special for the performance on their service. On Friday (Dec. 27), Netflix tweeted, “We’re shouting YA YA YA YA YA because BEYONCÉ BOWL, a standalone special, is now available on Netflix.” At its height, the halftime show attracted more than 27 million total viewers globally. Deadline indicated that it exceeded the viewer count of the Kansas City Chiefs-Pittsburgh Steelers game and the Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans game.
