The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) declared on Thursday that before President Bola Tinubu emerged, Nigeria was already in severe hemorrhaging.

The founder of the party, Boniface Aniebonam, gave Mr. Tinubu’s administration a high mark for the past year, claiming that the president was aware of the nation’s crisis before to taking office.

According to Mr. Aniebonam, the president recognized the difficulties facing the country and created the “Renewed Hope Agenda” to address them head-on.

“It makes sense that NNPP members believe that a great leader is someone who can make a poor decision rather than none at all when it comes to a pressing matter of state affairs,” he stated.

“The president is human and may have made some poor choices, such as eliminating the corrupted oil subsidies without first considering how to mitigate the repercussions, but in the long run, it will be beneficial.

Thus, this is the moment for all Nigerians to become even more committed to working hard and giving up something in order to advance their nation.

Mr. Aniebonam claims that Nigeria has been successfully moved from the critical care unit to the general ward by Mr. Tinubu and members of his cabinet.

“This simply means that there is hope for Nigeria greatness shortly,” the NNPP chairman continued. Members of the New Nigerian People’s Party believe that Nigerians will determine Nigeria’s future greatness.

“We must increase productivity in the areas of education, science and technology, agriculture, industrialization, rule of law and order, and preventable acts of corruption and public disorder in order to achieve this goal.”

He emphasized that now “is not the time to assign blame in the name of opposition to whatever government does,” calling for the opposition to treat all of its critiques “with respect and patriotism” and to act responsibly and constructively.

The lawmaker stated, “Therefore, now is the moment to counsel and urge the president, as well as the leaderships of the legislative and judicial branches, to keep making sure that all of their decisions are made with the wellbeing of all Nigerians in mind.

“To stop waste on freight rates, the national carriers on the sea and the air should come on stream. This will assist in relieving the dollar’s strain on our local currency. Nigeria needs to actively pursue local production in order to stop the FX threat that is severely depleting our foreign exchange reserves and purchasing power.

“Specifically, in order to ensure industrial peace and harmony, the Nigerian labor force needs a living wage to keep up with the country’s economic realities.”
