Drake releases three new songs, one of which is “No Face,” with Playboi Carti. He only has access to the songs on his finsta account.
Rapper Drake of Canada released three full-length songs on his “plottttwistttttt” finsta page late on Friday night (Aug. 23). He released “Circadian Rhythm,” “No Face,” starring Playboi Carti, and the eagerly anticipated conclusion to “SOD,” all of which had three distinct moods.
Lil Yachty has before hinted at “SOD” via Kai Cenat’s live stream. The Atlanta emcee made a cameo appearance on the original record. Despite this, because well-known social media user Mr. HotSpot was sampled on the record, it was believed it would never be formally released. Later on, he clarified that he would remove the music if Drake and Lil Yachty agreed to remix the song in a way that would make it appropriate for children to listen to around parents without running afoul of the law.
With a deep bass line and a lovely melody, “Circadian Rhythm” tells the story of two partners’ discarded romance. Drake is well renowned for his ability to write songs that highlight his relatability. He raps, “I think it’s bringin’ bad luck, I need this s**t out the crib,” on the track. Owing to the restrictions placed on his Instagram page, his three distinct music posts receive a lot of interaction despite the lack of comments.
The final song, “No Face,” is an intensely positive hit with lyrics that some people think are directed at Kendrick Lamar. “I gotta know, I gotta know / How you get lit off the nga you hatin’ on? / This is the st that my daddy had raised me on,” he declared in the song. I know they’ve been praying for this moment because the numbers are unassailable and the data was incorrect.
“Quick, swap that st out, and I came back reloaded,” he cried later in the song. “I’m over the Moon, yeah, we’ll see you guys soon.” “I’m just so happy that ngas who envied and held that shit in got to finally show it.” It’s no secret that Drake has feelings for a number of people after their infamous rap feud with Kendrick Lamar. He took shots at a lot of people, including J. Cole, ASAP Rocky, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross, The Weeknd, and Rihanna, over a number of diss tracks.
Drake mentioned in the song that it seemed like a 20 versus 1 beef. Different fans have responded to the new songs. One fan said on Twitter, “DRIZZY IS SLIDIN YALL HEAR THIS S**T?!?!” “Drake is crashing out, stuff isn’t hitting the same,” said a different fan. Teasing him won’t succeed. Give the mixtape a miss!
The three songs haven’t been added to DSPs yet. The last time he posted three whole songs on his finsta account, the next day they were posted to DSPs.
