Beyoncé will perform songs from March’s “COWBOY CARTER” with special guests.

The BeyHive had an early Christmas. Beyoncé revealed on Sunday, November 17, that she will perform on stage on December 25 during the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game..

Beyoncé will sing songs from her most recent album, COWBOY CARTER, as part of Netflix’s inaugural NFL Christmas Gameday live. Fans will have to wait until the halftime show to learn who she is bringing out as special guests from the chart-topping production.

Hours after the Kansas City Chiefs play the Pittsburgh Steelers, the actual game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. ET. With “AMERIICAN REQUIEM” as the background music, Beyonce posted a promotional video to social media in which she is seen standing atop a car adorned in roses and then calmly catching a football with one hand..

Of course, Beyoncé knows the NFL all too well. She herself was the star of the 2013 Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show, and her husband, JAY-Z, began a multi-year collaboration with the league in 2019. She was then invited by Coldplay to perform a cover of “Formation” in 2016.

COWBOY CARTER is vying for an incredible 11 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year, as Rap-Up revealed earlier this month. Songs like “II MOST WANTED” featuring Miley Cyrus, “YA YA,” “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM,” and “16 CARRIAGES” are vying for attention in a number of different categories.

Shaboozey, Tanner Adell, Reyna Roberts, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, and a number of other Black country artists contributed to the album, which was first released in March. Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Malone also contributed to the 27-song collection.

“It doesn’t seem like a burden or like prison to be working on the music for COWBOY CARTER and starting this exciting new project. As she explained to GQ, “I actually only work on what liberates me.”
