The song will be featured on “The Party Never Ends” by Juice WRLD.
Juice WRLD’s estate enlisted Nicki Minaj on Friday, November 15, for their second official collaboration to date, “AGATS2 (Insecure)”—short for “All Girls Are the Same 2.” The song, which was hinted at earlier this week, will be featured on the late musician’s third and last posthumous album, The Party Never Ends.
The follow-up to Juice WRLD’s 2017 track “All Girls Are the Same” was “AGATS2 (Insecure).” It was featured on his first studio album, Goodbye & Good Riddance, along with the multiplatinum singles “Lucid Dreams” and “Wasted,” which was accompanied by a video produced by Cole Bennett.
Minaj inserted her Jason Voorhes quote from Ludacris’ “My Chick Bad” into the first verse of the revised version. She also took a broad swipe at her critics, as was to be expected from the Queens rapper: “Bches screaming, ‘Demon time,’ like they were possessed/ Let’s keep it real, bch, you know you were just obsessed.”
Although little is known about the features or the number of tunes that will be available to listeners, The Party Never Ends is anticipated to arrive on DSPs before the end of 2024. In September, Juice WRLD’s estate released The Pre-Party to pique fans’ interest. Two tracks were included: “World Tour (Aquafina)” and “Lightyears,” which featured Young Thug. In October, two more records were released: “Both Ways” and “Cavalier.”
“We feel honored and thankful. Before the release, Minaj wrote, “This song is flawless.” I can’t wait to tell you all about this. Goodbye, Juice WRLD. You will always be unique in your talent, aura, legacy, technique, tone, and capacity to compose melodies and cadences on the ideal beat to complement your unique, rich, unpolished, and energetic voice. I love you so much. We miss you so much.”
In addition, she is getting ready to release Pink Friday 2 (The Hiatus). In observance of the one anniversary of the first album, it is scheduled to be released on December 13.
