With the help of his unstoppable hit “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar has apparently broken another record, this one being held by 2Pac.

Our Generation Music shared an image on Instagram on Sunday, August 11, indicating that K.Dot’s most recent hit has crossed the 647 million mark, surpassing Pac’s renowned diss record, “Hit ‘Em Up,” by nearly six million.

The description of the tweet claimed that “Not Like Us,” which surpassed 2Pac’s 1996 smash, has officially become the most streamed diss record, even though it did not specify which platform the data was acquired from.

The record cannot be independently verified by HipHopDX.

The Notorious B.I.G. and other East Coast musicians were the target of 2Pac’s song “Hit ‘Em Up,” which ironically topped HipHopDX’s list of the 100 Greatest Diss Songs in Hip Hop History. Kendrick’s disdain for Drake served as the inspiration for the list.

The latter was ranked third.

Earlier this month, “Not Like Us” officially broke records as the best-selling single of 2024 in the United States, continuing Kendrick Lamar’s incredible year.

Chart Data stated on August 1 that the Drake diss song is currently the year’s most successful song, despite it being unclear how many copies it has sold overall.

“Not Like Us,” which was released in May, sold more than two million copies the following month despite not having received official certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) yet. The song hit one million equivalent units in less than two weeks after its release.

The song “Not Like Us” and its accompanying music video have received over 800 million plays only on Spotify and YouTube.

The song, which was produced by Mustard, has also peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 twice: once in its debut week and once more two months later following the release of its much awaited music video.

Drake’s situation has been made worse by the fact that the song has shattered multiple records that the 6 God had previously held.

“Not Like Us” quickly eclipsed Drake and Lil Baby’s 2021 record of 6.593 million plays for their song “Girls Like Girls,” earning the largest single-day streaming of any rap song on U.S. Spotify history with 10.986 million after being released during the height of K. Dot and Drizzy’s dispute in early May.

Subsequently, it dethroned “God’s Plan” as the fastest rap song to reach 500 million Spotify plays.
