Evidently, Mustard’s July is extremely busy. At his new album’s release party on Friday, July 26, the beatmaker announced that he and his girlfriend, Brittany Stroud, had welcomed a kid.

“For me, this week has been inexplicable. Yesterday, July 25, I gave birth to a baby. Today is the release day of my record. There’s some insane stuff happening between God and me. Thus, the “Ballin'” producer advised, “Don’t play with God’s child,” and he thanked everyone who showed up to show their support. “I’m going to start work on my new album on Monday, July 29. He later made a joke. Let’s get it.

Mustard has four children, albeit he hasn’t revealed the name of his newest addition. He just acknowledged his previous three with his ex-wife, Chanel Thierry, in “Pray For Me.”

On the song, he prayed for Auntie Diane, Roddy, and Keefa as well as for all of his children, Kylan, Kauner, and Kody. “Most definitely gotta pray for the apple of my eye and the love of my life, Brittany,” he added.

Kirk Franklin, Blxst, Future, Kodak Black, Lil Durk, Ty Dolla $ign, Young Thug, Quavo, and more contributed to the release of Faith of a Mustard Seed. “Parking Lot,” which featured Travis Scott, and “One Bad Decision,” which included Ella Mai and Roddy Ricch, were among the 14 tracks on the album.

Mustard claims that the late Nipsey Hussle served as inspiration for the title. “We spoke for hours the last time he was in the studio with me. “Man, you should name this album Faith Of A Mustard Seed,” he said. I said to myself, “I already have the title.” Perfect Ten is in order. And he’s like, ‘You gotta do [that title] before it’s all said and done,'” the Grammy winner said to Big Boy in a recent interview.

The native of Los Angeles is also relishing in Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” triumph, which brought the producer his first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and saw it climb back to the top of the chart on July 15.
