Mike Jones is alleged to have invented a massive concert proposal to silence jokes about his performances for small audiences.

On Instagram, the rapper known for “Still Tippin’” shared a screenshot of a supposed text message conversation in which someone asks him: “Is $100,000 sufficient to convince you to perform at my son’s barmitzvah?”

Jones replied: “What’s the date of the occasion, and we can make that possible for the $100,000.”

The Houston local leveraged the alleged offer to respond to his detractors and try to demonstrate that his well-known phone number lyric from “Back Then” continues to yield benefits.

“The influence of this 281-330-8004, some of you may have thought it was a trick, but many of my followers knew and know the reason I shared the # initially!!” he noted in the caption.

“For numerous reasons, 1) it was to prevent you all from engaging with unreliable promoters who organize phony events, and 2) I aimed to remain approachable and involved with my fans and supporters, and in 2025, they’re calling 281-330-8004 for a bar mitzvah, so yep, we’re making it happen!”

“Thus, if you only notice 5 or 50 individuals present, lol, that’s the reason for that, lmao #PaidVacations even when no one’s around lol,” he remarked, alluding to a viral clip from last year where he performed in front of a tiny audience at a daytime event.

Fans quickly sensed something suspicious, realizing that the number from which the message was sent was actually Mike Jones’ personal number.

“How is that the number you have, yet they’re messaging you?” one person remarked on his post.

The message incorrectly spells Bar Mitzvah, which is quite uncommon, particularly for someone Jewish.

“Anyone hosting a Bar-Mitzvah for their son and spending 100k would spell it correctly…” “I suppose there’s a contract that would be checked for spelling too,” noted another remark, while another user added: “lol dude spelled barmizfa in the text just like in the caption.”

Some were also doubtful about the massive performance fee: “This is strange.” Who conducts negotiations in that manner? “Is $100k sufficient to proceed, or do you aim to swindle me more?” lmao.

“To provide context, $100k can secure artists like Suicideboys, Beach House, Lil Yachty, Ludacris, Meek Mill, etc., which makes it seem somewhat unbelievable that a person would spend the same amount for a private show.”

Jones additionally shared several concert offer messages, including one from Hawaii that reportedly proposed $25,000 along with $10,000 for accommodations and travel.

The ex-Swishahouse artist utilized this post to address critics again, stating: “lol while you all attempt to be humorous & laugh about when the shows are sparse. just remember whether it’s 1 person or 8,000, that price NEVER CHANGES!!

“Indeed, it’s rising!!!” You all share ONLY the shows that are easygoing but ignore MOST of the shows that are exciting and full, so it’s fine because it reveals that you are some journalistic trolls.

He said: “I would really enjoy finding out what you all earn for every show, event, or anything!! so I can have the final laugh!! Just know that whenever you share the private light shows, remember I still received my payment. It’s 2025 and you can see the offers!!
