Now that Young Thug has been released from prison and is allowed to resume his career, Metro Boomin appears to be planning something with the rapper.
On Wednesday night (November 6), Metro posted a glimpse of his computer screen to his Instagram Story. The screen showed a recording session for a song called “Jeff Home,” which is a reference to Thug’s real name, Jeffrey.
He provided no additional context, but it seems reasonable to believe that the two might be dropping off something soon.

Young Thug reconnected with former mentor T.I. earlier this week and seems to be working on a project.
“Yes, dude. What do you need to say to these people? In a video that they posted, Thug responds to T.I.’s question by saying, “Back, Jack […] No cap in my rap.” the proper manner.
Tip, who is now working on his 12th and final album and will perform for the very last time next month, also alluded to new music in the caption.

And since recovering his freedom, Young Thug is getting back in touch with other rappers besides T.I.
The YSL boss officially approached Lil Baby for a new partnership in one of his first social media postings after being released.
He wrote, “Wham let’s drop one on these rats, Peter,” using his moniker to refer to his protégé and regular collaborator.
Since then, blackboard-style billboards with the slogan “Whatever Wham Say Goes” have appeared in Los Angeles and Chicago, referencing a tweet that Thug made while he was still incarcerated.
Lil Baby responded by sharing a video on his Instagram Stories that was accompanied by his and Thug’s 2020 song “We Should,” suggesting that he is in favor of the concept.
In a subsequent post, the 4PF rapper also wished Thug a very happy return home, writing: “I missed you, mf!!!!” Brudda, welcome home! Thank heavens you’re well enough to return to your family! I hope you have billions of dollars! #whatwhamsaysgoes
