Megan Thee Stallion has received a five-year restraining order against Tory Lanez after effectively demonstrating that he continues to harass her, even while incarcerated.

The order forbids Tory, who is presently serving a decade-long prison term for shooting Megan in the feet in July 2020, from harassing, intimidating, or threatening the Houston rapper in any manner until at least January 9, 2030.

He must remain at least 100 yards away from her.

The directive was given on Thursday (January 9) after a court session in Los Angeles, during which Megan addressed the emotional impact that Tory’s purported behavior since the shooting has had on her via Zoom.

“I have not felt at ease since I was shot, and I am simply trying to be free from harassment — not just from the individual who shot me, but also from the people he has hired to keep harassing me,” she stated under oath, as reported by Rolling Stone.

“I may never find my own peace regarding the situation, yet I sincerely wish for the harassment from the individual who shot me to cease.”

In her petition for a restraining order last month, Megan alleged that Tory Lanez hired third-party bloggers to disseminate false information about her and undermine her credibility in the shooting case.

She mentioned payments amounting to $3,000 from Tory’s father to blogger Milagro Gramz (actual name Milagro Elizabeth Cooper), whom Megan is taking to court for cyberstalking, emotional harm, and promoting an “altered sexual depiction” by distributing deepfake pornographic content of her.

While testifying, the Houston Hottie became emotional and cried as she confessed to facing anxiety from the ongoing harassment by Lanez and his backers.

“I hardly ever go out of my home.” I exit my home to go to work. “However, I no longer excel in social situations because I believe everyone dislikes me now due to all that he has said and done about me following the shooting,” she stated. “I constantly feel anxious.” I never experienced anxiety prior to this. “I’m constantly a bundle of nerves.”

The 29-year-old expressed that she is afraid for her life because of Tory, with whom she was in a sexual relationship during the shooting.

“I’m frightened that when he is released from jail, he will still be angry with me, and I’m uncertain if he will keep being violent towards me,” she continued. “Even from behind bars, he continues to prove that he can reach me.”

“I have a sense that when he’s released from prison, things will be even more dangerous. … I worry that he might shoot me once more, and perhaps I won’t survive this time.”

Judge Richard Bloom referenced “multiple undisputed facts” while issuing the restraining order, such as “actions that led to [Lanez] firing roughly five shots at [Megan] that caused her injuries.”

Tory’s attorney, Michael Hayden, responded to the ruling, labeling it an unjust limitation on the rapper’s freedom of expression. He also contended that it was unjustified since Tory, who was found guilty of the shooting in late 2022, is presently incarcerated.
