It is said that Max B will release several of his classic mixtapes on streaming platforms before he is finally released from prison next year.
Sources told TMZ that Tru Life and his manager William Cosgrove recently visited the Harlem rapper in prison, and it was revealed that Max’s discography will soon be released on DSPs.
Allegedly, the mixtapes are expected to come out in December and will be the first time that a majority of his music will be accessible on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music.
Even though Max Biggaveli’s music can be found on the Library of a Legend compilations, his solo projects have not been officially released.
It appears that the Wave God will likely be released sooner than expected, despite being convicted in 2009 for murder and armed robbery and receiving a 20-year prison sentence.
It is claimed that the 46-year-old man planned to steal from two men with his stepbrother, Kelvin Leerdam, and ex-girlfriend, Gina Conway, at a Holiday Inn in New Jersey in September 2006. The failed robbery led to the death of one of the men as a result of being shot.
In 2016, Max’s convictions were overturned and he admitted guilt for aggravated manslaughter, resulting in his original 75-year sentence being cut down to just 20 years. His jail time was reduced even more to 12 years shortly after.
He is set to be released in November 2025 as things stand.
Even though he is incarcerated, Max B has continued to engage with his fans on social media and has expressed his excitement for his release.
“You all know what’s going on. Give a loud call to the young man. The birthday boy is just arriving. You are already aware. In a video shared online, he expressed, “I’m feeling great,” while wearing an icy Jesus piece chain over his prison attire.
“It’s nearly finished.” I’m leaving with two more joints, bro. The name is Max Bigavell. At 45 years old, I feel great and appear attractive. I taste nice, I smell nice, n-gga.
French Montana, who often works with Max, had predicted that Max would return home by April 2024, but that deadline has already come and gone.
