Machine Gun Kelly secretly entered rehab in 2023, and he recently revealed that he is now officially one year sober as a result.

The Cleveland hitmaker appeared on the latest episode of Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast, which was released on Monday (August 5). During the nearly two-hour conversation, Kells stated that he hasn’t used alcohol in 12 months.

“I’m totally sober from everything. I don’t drink any longer. “I haven’t drank since last August,” he admitted.

Following his European tour last year, MGK decided to seek assistance, and he’s already reaping the advantages.

“I didn’t tell anyone other than those closest to me.” “That was the first time I went to rehab,” he admitted. “I’m really happy when I’m clear and my daughter and I are talking, and I’m coming from a place of centering and holding room for what a child needs from their parent. I am unstoppable with both of my feet on the earth.”

He went on: “I’m just happy that I’m able to start to be comfortable enough to show people who I am because I kind of depended on my art to do that.”

In addition to booze, MGK said he used to “abuse” cannabis, use hydrocodone and Percocet, and “loved snorting Vyvans.”

He also said that recovery helped him in other ways.

“I learned so many ways to operate my body and show where my anger is coming from and the methods to quell it.”

In further encouraging news for Machine Gun Kelly, he recently resolved his feud with Millyz following a heated exchange.

In late May, a video leaked of the two rappers performing at the same location in Ohio. After becoming aware of Kelly’s presence and hearing someone yell, “Oh shit!” “Fuck MGK!” the Massachusetts rapper could be seen making his way backstage to seemingly confront his adversary.

Following some squabbling between the two parties’ entourages, MGK and Millyz square off as things appeared to be going south. However, the two rappers then moved away for a private conversation, only to return later and kiss each other on the lips.

“This is my boy. Millyz may be heard expressing “Respect” to MGK before the two parted ways.
