Lil Baby is anticipated to make a strong debut on the Billboard 200 with his latest album, WHAM (Who Hard As Me).
Based on Chart Predictions, the endeavor is anticipated to debut at No. 1 on the chart with an estimated 115k-125k album equivalent units.
The 15-song project dropped on Friday (January 3) and includes features from Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, GloRilla, Rod Wave, Rylo, and 21 Savage.
If the forecast holds true, WHAM will signify the rapper’s fourth straight No. 1 album.
The rapper’s earlier hits include My Turn from 2020, The Voice of the Heroes with Lil Durk in 2021, and It’s Only Me from 2022.
Lil Baby has recently revealed that WHAM won’t be his sole release for the year, as he intends to launch two new albums in 2025 that will highlight different aspects of his artistry.
The Atlanta rapper announced the update during his appearance on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast, stating: “Initially, I was informing people that I would release a double album.” “I’m now releasing the WHAM album along with the Dominique album.”
The Atlanta rapper mentioned that the follow-up album, named after his actual name, is expected to come out in February, soon after WHAM.
Baby was asked by his collaborator from “Sum More” how the two projects will be distinct: “I still included some of the tracks I planned to use for Dominique on WHAM because I know my fanbase genuinely wants to hear those specific songs.” WHAM represents my younger self—fast cars, women, bling, and cash. You know, the lively lifestyle.
“And Dominique represents a more serious version of me, more intimate.” That’s a segment of the new path I’m pursuing. I dislike the term vulnerable, but I will become more transparent with my supporters and my audience.
