Lil Baby announced that his upcoming album Wham (Who Hard As Me) is set to drop on January 3.
The Atlanta rapper shared the news on Instagram on Monday (December 16) with a video hinting at new music from the project.
“Loadingggggggggggggg……… 1-3-25 WHO CAN HANDLE ME !!!!” BAM !! “Two or three days can seem like an eternity with the can’t be’s,” he wrote in the caption for the video.
The clip additionally shows that the project is complete, with Baby stating: “Thursday, 2024… officially submitting my album today.”
Last month, Lil Baby hinted that Wham (Who Hard As Me) would include several prominent guests.
In an Instagram Stories post, the 4PF leader was spotted in front of a whiteboard that seems to outline song titles and featured artists for the upcoming project.
The mentioned rappers are Travis Scott, Future, 21 Savage, Young Thug, GloRilla, and Rod Wave.
The album seems to consist of 15 songs, with a total of five tracks intended for the deluxe edition.
Lil Baby has released three warm-up singles so far in preparation for the project: “5AM,” “Insecurities,” and “Touchdown.”
Nonetheless, he disclosed that the initial two won’t be included in the album, posting on social media: “Insecurities, 5am going crazzyyy. Wild party [sic] is … they’re not even featured on the album.”
Last month, Baby revealed the album through a social media post describing his challenges in recent years.
“Isn’t It Wild How They Attempt To Treat Me Like I’m Not The Real Deal!!!” “It’s That Moment!” he posted on Instagram. “I would mention it once more, but this effort will be completely unique!”
“I Went Through The Most Difficult Time Of My Life In The Past Two Years But I Kept Going And Conquered That Stuff[.] Now I’m Back To Messing Things Up As Usual…, Yours Truly, Wham !! Who’s as tough as I am? “Let’s go!”
Wham (Who Hard As Me) will be Lil Baby’s fourth studio album and the successor to 2022’s It’s Only Me, which entered the Billboard 200 at number one with more than 215,000 units sold in its first week.
