Lil Baby has teased the possibility of releasing a joint project with Future and Young Thug after their latest collaboration “Dum, Dumb and Dumber.”

In a recent episode of Spotify’s A Day in the Life series, the Atlanta rapper revealed that the project is currently being developed — at Thug’s own recommendation.

“Future and I were collaborating on a joint project.” “We almost finished the joint tape,” he stated. “And now Slime returned home; you know he’s not going to accept that.” He was like, “Shiiit.”

“Believe it or not, it was Thug who came up with the idea.” While he was in prison, he said, ‘Hey, contact Pluto. I’d like everyone to collaborate on a tape. He almost titled the tape and all — this was prior to his release.

“Now that he’s free, he says, ‘I’m on the tape’ [laughs].” We could have something significant coming up on that […] Thug is like a lab rat; he just stays in the studio. “We have together created 10 songs already.”

In the episode, Baby disclosed that a compilation album from his 4PF label titled Can’t Be Fucked With is in progress, in addition to his recently dropped LP WHAM and its upcoming sequel Domonique.

Lil Baby had earlier disclosed his intention to release two albums in 2025.

He mentioned on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast: “Initially, I informed others that I would release a double album. “I’m releasing the WHAM album and the Dominique album now.”

The “Freestyle” hitmaker mentioned that the second album, named after his actual name, will “hopefully” be released in February.

Baby was then questioned by his “Sum More” collaborator about how the two projects will vary, answering: “I still included some of the tracks I intended for Dominique on WHAM since I know my fanbase really desires to hear those specific songs.”

“WHAM represents my youthful vibe — speeding cars, women, bling, cash.” You’re familiar with the wild lifestyle. And Dominique represents the more serious side of me, more intimate.

“That’s an aspect of the new path I’m embarking on.” I dislike the term vulnerable, but I will become more transparent with my fans and my audience.

WHAM launched on January 3 and appears poised to make a significant impact on the Billboard 200.

As per Chart Predictions, the 15-track album is expected to launch at number one on the chart with over 125,000 units sold in the first week.

If the tracking remains accurate, WHAM will signify Lil Baby’s fourth consecutive album to reach the top of the charts.
