Laila!’s “Not My Problem” caused quite a stir on TikTok earlier this year. The emerging singer, who also happens to be Yasiin Bey’s daughter, collaborated with Cash Cobain on a big remix of the song on Wednesday, August 14, at midnight.

Fabolous, Kenzo B, Big Sean, Lay Bankz, Luh Tyler, Anycia, Chow Le, Kaliii, 6LACK, Flo Milli, YN Jay, FLEE, Don Q, and Rob49, who concluded the nearly seven-minute mash-up, were among the fourteen artists featured in the new version. Notably, they all used Laila!’s popular melody in their contributions.

First, Cobain introduced himself as “Slizzy Smalls,” and then Fab acknowledged Houston. “I done went broke and then bounced back, that’s not my problem / You 40 tryna scam and rob, and that’s your problem / You boys won’t work without a job, and that’s a problem / All I did was beat the odds; that’s not a problem,” Big Sean, who was tied with Rob49 for the record’s longest verse, dropped some heat in the meantime.

In another place, 6LACK referenced his breakthrough hit, “PRBLMS.” “I’m at Magic, might just have a spending problem / I’m vibin’ since a n**ga dropped ‘problem,'” he spat. “Outside the club and can’t get in, that’s not my problem.” View the song’s entirety below.

“Not My Problem” is anticipated to be included on Laila!’s upcoming debut album, which will be out on September 6. She gave her fans a sneak peek at IN CTRL in February! The EP, which consisted of four tracks, had hits like “80 in a 55” and “SOFT SERVE.”

In contrast, Cobain is presently traveling with Ice Spice as part of her “Y2K! World Tour.” Earlier in 2024, he experienced viral success with songs including “Dunk Contest” and “Fisherrr – Remix.”
